Over the last couple of years, we’ve been working on Thirlmere Park with fellow community organisations and local residents to organise community clean-ups and events. As well as sow beautiful wildflowers with All Saints Primary School and Scouse Flowerhouse.
This weekend, we were joined by Goodgym Liverpool volunteers to litter pick the park, and in just under an hour we cleared 11 bags of rubbish.
The park is looking great with this year’s wildflowers and is full of bees and butterflies, a big thank you to the Liverpool City Region Community Environment Fund, the National Lottery Community Fund and Magic Little Grants for supporting our work in the park.
We’ll be heading back to the park in August for more activities, sign-up to our mailing list to keep up-to-date
